Inspection / Repair Service Application in Calhoun, GA

Responsibilities are inspecting rugs for damages or flaws causing them to be second quality. Repair or clean the product for orders before shipping. Iron labels on rugs for orders going to Mexico. Mend or repair any damage that is repairable. Steam clean or vacuum rug’s if the rug has dirty spots that can be removed. Ensure the rug is the correct pattern and straight to specks. Check for manufacturing errors. Prepare custom padding for odd shape rugs. Correct any binding and backing problems. Sew any areas mend able. Communicate with inventory control manager when rug cannot be repaired. Ensuring roll is packaged properly for shipping once repairs or cleaning is complete. Ensuring all damages and flaws are recorded in the AS400 and log book. Maintain Safety Procedures: maintain safe work practices as outlined in the safety procedures.

Infrequent: Match dye lots to ensure they are the same. Repair goods in the damage bin if no work for the day is available for inspection.

Minimum requirements:
High School / GED preferred.  Read, write, and comprehend English.  Computer Experience required.

Abilities required:
Ability to use AS400, tape gun, scissors, steam cleaner, vacuum, needle and thread, knife and needle nose pliers, and iron.
